Bangladesh

Our founder, spearheaded the National Program for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) in Bangladesh, initially funded by USAID Childhood Blindness Program (CBP) and the Excellence in Ophthalmology Vision Award (XOVA), So Kids Can See aims to expand screening of all babies born too soon in remote areas of Bangladesh.

A graduate from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine specialized in Eye Care, Lindsay's passion is focused on the Global Prevention of Blindness and Surgical Site Infections. She founded So Kids Can See in 2011 and since has lived in Kenya and Pakistan working across Africa and Asia and the America's.

A Paediatric Ophthalmologist at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto specialized in Retinoblastoma, originally from India, Ashwin has dedicated his career to saving the vision and lives of children with this form of cancer through early detection and innovative therapies to reduce chemo toxicity.

Specialized in Human Resources Management, Negotiations and Labour Relations, Amanda is passionate about human rights and equity and the protection of vulnerable persons. Amanda joined So Kids Can See in 2013 as a director spending the majority of time as Treasurer.
